CARRIER BOARD (PCB) DESIGN

The carrier board that turns a module into your product.

We design the carrier board that integrates your chosen Newstart SOM — sized to your exact I/O, power, thermal and mechanical needs, and DFM-ready for volume build on our Shenzhen lines.

What we do

From a SOM to a finished, buildable board.

A System-on-Module handles the compute. The carrier board is what makes it your product — connectors, power, sensors, mechanics. We own that layer end-to-end.

What you get

A complete, handoff-ready design package.

Every engagement ships with the documentation your team — or your factory — needs to build and own the board.

📑
Schematics & BOM

Reviewed schematic set and a costed, sourced bill of materials.

🛠
Fab & assembly package

Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place and assembly drawings.

🧩
Bring-up notes

Power-up sequence, test points and first-article checklist.

📖
User manual

Interface and integration documentation for your engineers.

How we work

From requirements to production handoff.

Clear deliverables and a go/no-go gate at every step — one senior team owns the board from first sketch to volume build.

1
Requirements

I/O, power, thermal, mechanical and cost targets captured with you.

2
Schematic

Schematic capture around the SOM, with design review.

3
Layout

Multi-layer PCB layout, power and signal integrity.

4
Prototype

First articles built, brought up and bench-validated.

5
Handoff

DFM review and production package to our Shenzhen lines.

One complete product

Carrier board is one of three — you need all of them.

A module handles the compute, but a finished product needs the carrier board and the FPGA logic and the firmware. We own all three end-to-end, so nothing is lost between vendors.

Leave out any one and you don’t have a product yet — all three are essential, and one senior team delivers them together.

Need a carrier board around your module?

Tell us the module, your interfaces and your enclosure. We’ll propose the board design and build plan to get you to production.
